THE PAST WITH -ED

Today we are going to learn how to talk about things in the past.

To put a verb in the past we just use -ed.

Every day I smoke.
Yesterday I smoked

Every day I wash my hands.
Last night I washed my hands.

We say the -ed in different ways.
1. Like a "t"  - smoked
2. Like a "d" - called
3 Like "id" - started

Watch the video and practice.

Also, do the Quizlet for more practice.
